Our Market Managers are responsible for building and supervising a teams of retail and outside sales associates. Market Managers who are successful in this role know how to hire, recruit and manage successful teams, develop effective lifeline enrollment strategies, understand the market and successfully deliver on set objectives.
Roles and Responsibilities
- Supervise and manage field and sales associates responsible for distributing lifeline products and services in assigned market.
- Hire and recruit quality personnel who exceeds the accepted minimum standards set forth by the company.
- Conduct comprehensive new hire orientation and training to ensure agents comply with regulatory requirements and lifeline rules.
- Assist field agents in identifying and securing productive locations for lifeline distribution
- Ensure both financial and sales goals are met by formulating strategies.
- Maintain and protect company assets, including physical structures and inventory, through routine audits and inventory reconciliations.
- Analyze lifeline enrollments and inventory reporting to forecast personnel and inventory needs to meet or exceed company objectives.
- Develop growth opportunity recommendations through market research, scouting and competitive analysis.
- Provide field agents with marketing campaigns, promotional and communications materials to maximize enrollment opportunities.
- Coach and develop field agents to improve effectiveness, proficiency and productivity.
- Perform routine agent and location performance evaluations through report analysis and on-site evaluations.
- Any other related duties as assigned by upper management.

Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Reliable transportation
- Valid driver’s License
- Prior personnel management experience
- Knowledge of wireless communications products is helpful
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, organizational and time management skills
- Must demonstrate prior success in employee development, participation in problem-solving, relationship building with customers
- High level of ambition and leadership by example in a changing environment
- Willingness and ability to conduct site visits for existing teams
- Objectivity, facilitation and time management skills
- Cooperation to uphold Company policies and procedures
- Willing to travel within assigned market
- Bilingual a plus, but not required
