Class A/B CDL Driver

Job Description

We’re looking for a reliable Class A or B CDL Driver to operate a grapple truck for a busy tree service company. This position involves hauling and loading tree debris, logs, and brush from residential and commercial job sites. Experience with grapple trucks or heavy equipment is preferred, but we’re willing to train the right driver with a solid work ethic.

Experience is preferred. This is a full time position. We offer paid time off, 401k and holidays. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, great communication skills, self motivated and reliable. Weekly payroll. Salary determined by experience. 

Responsibilities

• Safely operate a grapple truck to load and haul tree debris, logs, and brush

• Transport materials to disposal or processing sites

• Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections

• Operate hydraulic controls and auxiliary equipment

• Maintain a clean and safe work environment

• Communicate effectively with crew members and supervisors

• Follow DOT regulations and company safety policies

• Assist ground crew as needed

Requirements

• Valid Class A or Class B CDL

• Clean or acceptable driving record

• Ability to operate or learn grapple truck controls

• Comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions

• Physically able to climb in/out of truck and assist on job sites

• Strong attention to safety and detail

• Tree service, construction, or equipment experience a plus

Preferred (Not Required)

• Grapple truck or knuckleboom experience

• Tree service or landscaping background

• Air brake endorsement

• Mechanical aptitude

Salary : $28 - $35
