Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Home Inspector to join our team and ensure the safety, quality, and compliance of residential properties. Duties
- Perform detailed home inspections covering structural elements, electrical systems, plumbing, roofing, HVAC systems, and foundation integrity.
- Analyze building plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to verify construction compliance and identify discrepancies.
- Conduct on-site evaluations of construction projects in civil infrastructure roles to assess quality control measures and adherence to building codes.
- Document inspection findings through comprehensive reports, including photographs, data collection logs, and detailed descriptions of issues identified.
- Ensure construction regulatory compliance by reviewing contracts, schematics, and technical specifications during inspections.
- Collaborate with contractors and project managers to interpret technical drawings and provide recommendations for repairs or improvements.
- Monitor public infrastructure construction projects for quality inspection standards and safety adherence throughout all phases of development.
Requirements
- Already have experience with One standard of practice and Radon state certification
- Proven construction experience with a strong understanding of building processes and materials.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans accurately.
- Experience in construction site inspections with a focus on quality control and regulatory compliance.
- Knowledge of construction management practices and familiarity with contracts related to building projects.
- Strong analysis skills for evaluating construction work against specifications and standards.
- Prior experience working on construction projects in a civil infrastructure role or similar environment is highly desirable.
- Excellent data collection skills combined with attention to detail for thorough reporting purposes.
