We are looking for a Plant Engineer to lead the maintenance team and ensure the safe and efficient operation of all manufacturing equipment and facilities. This role plays a key part in maintaining operational excellence and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the maintenance team.
- Schedule and oversee all maintenance and repair activities.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and facilities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues promptly.
- Implement and manage preventive maintenance programs.
- Maintain records of maintenance activities and equipment performance.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and standards.
- Train and develop maintenance staff.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering required; Mechanical Engineering preferred
- Proven experience as a maintenance supervisor in a manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and blueprints.
- Strong leadership and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills in English; bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays if needed.
