Driving Instructor

Easy Driving School is a small, supportive, family-owned driving school in Plymouth, MN. We are looking for patient, reliable individuals who enjoy working with teens and want a meaningful, flexible job. No prior instructor experience is required — we provide all training and teaching materials.

You will work one-on-one with teen and adult drivers to help them build safe driving habits and prepare for their Minnesota road test. This role is perfect for teachers, retirees, and college students looking for flexible part-time work, especially during evenings and weekends in the school year and any time during the summer.

What You’ll Do:

Conduct behind-the-wheel lessons with teen and adult drivers

Teach online classroom sessions using provided curriculum and materials

Pick up students from home or school (company car provided during your shift)

Communicate professionally with parents about student progress

Help students prepare confidently for their MN road test

Represent Easy Driving School with professionalism, patience, and safety

Requirements:

Valid driver’s license held for at least 3 years

High school diploma or equivalent

Clean driving record

Ability to pass a background check

Reliable transportation to and from our Plymouth location

Comfortable working independently

Professional, patient communication skills

Enjoy working with teens and adults

Schedule:

School Year: primarily evenings and weekends

Summer: flexible, daytime availability welcome

Part-time with the ability to build a stable, consistent schedule

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
