What are the responsibilities and job description for the Intervention Specialist position at Eastwood Middle School?
Eastwood Local Schools is searching for an Intervention Specialist for the 2026-27 school year for our middle school.
Qualifications:
Valid State of Ohio teacher certification - Intervention Specialist (K-12 mild/moderate or moderate/intensive) license.
Experience with collaborating with an IEP team to create and implement an IEP to meet the individualized needs of students.
Knowledge of instructional methods and intervention strategies.
Desire and ability to work with students with diverse backgrounds, experiences, and levels of ability toward accomplishing their educational goals.
Ability to design and facilitate differentiated and personalized learning goals and activities that are aligned to educational needs and instructional goals.
Promote and enhance the positive district and building culture.
