Reading Interventionist – Eastwood Elementary
Eastwood Elementary is seeking a passionate and dedicated Reading Interventionist to support students in developing strong literacy skills. This position is ideal for a retired teacher who enjoys working with students and helping struggling readers succeed.
Qualifications:
- Valid Indiana teaching license preferred but not required (retired teachers encouraged to apply)
- Knowledge and understanding of Science of Reading instructional practices
- Experience providing reading interventions and literacy support
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
Responsibilities:
- Provide targeted reading interventions to individual students and small groups
- Utilize Science of Reading strategies to improve student literacy outcomes
- Monitor student progress and maintain intervention records
- Collaborate with classroom teachers and administrators to support student achievement
