Eastwick College is seeking a dedicated and experienced Associate Director of Nursing for the Hackensack Campus. This full-time leadership role supports the Director of Nursing and plays a key part in ensuring the academic quality, regulatory compliance, and overall success of the nursing program.
Position Summary
The Associate Director of Nursing reports directly to the Director of Nursing and assists in the leadership, coordination, and management of all aspects of the nursing program. This includes academic oversight, faculty support, clinical placement, student progression, and compliance with accreditation and state regulatory standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Supporting the Director of Nursing in program planning, development, and evaluation
- Overseeing EXXAT-related functions, including clinical placement coordination and documentation
- Managing ATI testing processes and ensuring timely completion of required assessments
- Ensuring accurate and timely NCLEX registration for all eligible students
- Participating in the review, revision, and maintenance of course syllabi and program materials
- Supervising and evaluating faculty performance
- Monitoring student performance and progression
- Ensuring program compliance with accreditation and state board requirements
- Maintaining regular communication with the Director of Nursing, Dean of Academics, and Campus Director
- Working a minimum of 40 hours per week and providing availability during non-instructional hours as needed
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Nursing required; Doctorate preferred
- Current New Jersey Registered Professional Nurse (RN) license
- Minimum four (4) years of academic and supervisory experience in undergraduate nursing education
- Minimum four (4) years of supervisory or clinical experience as a Registered Nurse
- Strong leadership, organizational, and problem‑solving skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
