Our day services program serves kids in grades Kindergarten – 5th and are tailored to their specific behavioral health needs.
We are now hiring for a Community Support Specialist (CSS)/Case Manager to provide effective quality services to children with mental health disorders and their families. The CSS will be part of a skilled a compassionate clinical team including a program director, a therapist, and other Community Support Specialists providing care to the children in the program.
Duties:
· Assures quality care by maintaining timely, complete and accurate clinical documentation.
· Promotes a proactive and positive environment in which quality mental health services are successfully integrated into the comprehensive approach supported by the program, division, and agency.
· Planning and leading groups.
· Regularly drive clients in a company vehicle.
· Ensures effective communication with the educational team.
· Works closely with others to ensure continuity of service delivery/adherence to daily schedules, as well as achieving productivity standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree preferably in Social Work, Psychology, or related field OR 3 years of prior experience in mental health services with a high school diploma/GED
- Valid Driver's License and car insurance
- Prior experience as a Case Worker preferred
- Prior experience working with children
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.50 - $20.00 per hour
