Job Summary:
The Culinary Administrative Coordinator provides essential administrative support to the Culinary Department, working closely with the Executive Chef to ensure efficient day-to-day operations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented individual who is organized, proactive, and comfortable working with systems, data, and communication across departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Food Inventory Management (Primary Responsibility): Establish, maintain, and manage the Club’s food inventory system, including entering invoices, receiving items in the system, updating product data, and assisting with monthly physical inventory counts.
- Assist the Executive Chef with invoice processing, including coding, tracking, and ensuring timely submission and accuracy.
- Maintain organized records and documentation related to purchasing, inventory, and vendor activity.
- Provide general administrative support to the Executive Chef and Culinary team as needed.
- Assist with additional administrative projects and tasks as assigned.
Requirements
Qualifications:
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and accuracy
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, particularly Excel and Word
- Comfortable working with data entry, systems, and basic accounting processes
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work collaboratively with team members
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
