What are the responsibilities and job description for the Full-Time Kennel Attendant position at Eastview Animal Hospital?
The kennel attendant provides care and the basic needs of animals that are being groomed, boarded, or that are patients of Eastview Animal Hospital. This includes the cleaning of cages, runs, and ward areas, laundry, walking, and proper feeding, medicating and care of all hospitalized patients. Kennel attendants also provide for the constant cleanliness of the hospital.
May need occasional weekend shift coverage
Hours: M-F 7:00am-3:30pm with 1 hour lunch from 11:30am-12:30am.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Have consistent and reliable transportation
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs unassisted
- Possess a respectful attitude and positive outlook even during busy workload
- Possess strong communication skills and be able to work as a part of a team!
- Willingness to learn
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $11.00 per hour
Expected hours: 38.5 per week
