Job Summary
Under the direction of the Coordinator, Specials Education or designee, acts as a special education specialist to teachers, support services staff and administrators to facilitate instructional programs for students with disabilities'; assesses program needs and implements achievement of program objectives;serves as a resource for addressing compliance issues and compliance implementation. The Program Specialist will consult with school site and District level personnel to ensure district compliance with special education law. The Program Specialist may serve as Administrative Designee at IEP meetings as needed.
