Eastside Orthopedics & Sports Medicine, leading Orthopedic and Sports Medicine practice, has built a first-class reputation for the quality of its providers and the top-level considerate care they provide. Our growing practice is seeking a FT board-certified physician assistant with Oregon license to join its Orthopedic team and work allied with Orthopedic Surgeon.

This position offers an ideal work schedule - 4 day work week, 3 days in clinic & 1 day in OR.

Duties:
- Perform orthopedic surgeries and procedures to treat musculoskeletal conditions and injuries
- Diagnose and evaluate patients' conditions through physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic tests
- Develop treatment plans and provide comprehensive care to patients with orthopedic conditions
- Prescribe medications, physical therapy, and other non-surgical treatments as necessary
- Provide discharge planning and post-operative care instructions to patients
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care
- Utilize electronic medical record systems (e.g., eClinicalWorks) for data management and documentation

Skills:
- Strong knowledge and expertise in orthopedic medicine and surgical techniques
- Excellent diagnostic skills and the ability to interpret medical tests and imaging results
- Proficiency in performing orthopedic procedures such as joint replacements, fracture repairs, and arthroscopic surgeries
- Familiarity with medical coding and billing practices for accurate documentation and reimbursement
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and healthcare team members
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound medical decisions
- Attention to detail and the ability to prioritize patient care

Pay: From $110,000.00 per year
