Job Title: Director of Admissions
The Director of Admissions leads the school’s student recruitment and enrollment efforts, serving as the primary contact for prospective families. This position manages the admissions process from initial inquiry through enrollment and works closely with school leadership to promote the mission and programs of the school.
Key responsibilities
- Serve as the primary contact for prospective families and guide them through the admissions process.
- Coordinate school tours, family interviews, student assessments, and guest visits.
- Manage prospective student inquiries and records using FACTS.
- Work with the Marketing Manager to support community outreach and enrollment growth.
- Track enrollment data and prepare reports for school leadership.
- Help plan and participate in admissions events such as open houses and school fairs.
- Maintain a comprehensive understanding of ECS’s academic, extra-curricular, and operational practices, policies, and procedures, and strategically plan how best to communicate these practices to the greater community
- Support international student enrollment and process I-20 applications.
- Collaborate with the Principal and leadership team on enrollment and retention efforts.
- Present at biweekly leadership team meetings and board meetings as requested.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Experience with student information systems (FACTS preferred).
- Commitment to the mission and values of Christian education.
- Model Christ-centered character and leadership.
Minimum Requirements completed before employment begins:
- Valid/Current First Aid and CPR Certification (training reimbursed by ECS)
- Background check run by ECS
- A love for kids
Spiritual State: All Eastside Christian Staff must have received Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior. He or she will be a regular attendee or member in good standing of a Bible-believing church and shall lead a life that portrays a believer in Christ, walking in the Spirit in response to God. He or she shall be a person of spiritual maturity who is seen as a leader and a role model, and who is able to articulate the precepts of the Christian faith clearly and effectively. Ephesians 5:1-21 provides an excellent guideline for behavior for Christians.
Salary and Benefits
- This is a 32 hours/week position with benefits starting at $55,000.
- We do offer a tuition discount for staff descendants to attend our school and you may also utilize our after care program at no charge on the days that you are working for ECS.
