Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Staff Pharmacist to join our healthcare team. Duties
- Dispense prescription medications accurately using pharmacy software and EMR/EHR systems
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments to determine appropriate medication therapy
- Prepare and compound non-sterile products
- Provide clinical consultation on medication therapy, pain management, immunizations, and medical management plans
- Administer immunizations
- Educate patients on medication administration, potential side effects, and health management strategies
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals on patient care plans, including pediatrics and acute care cases
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality at all times
- Manage medication inventory levels, order supplies, and oversee medication storage safety standards
- Participate in patient service activities such as medication reconciliation and discharge planning
Qualifications
- Valid pharmacist license with current registration in the state of practice
- Prior experience preferred
- Knowledge of physiology, anatomy, medical terminology, and pharmacology principles
- Proficiency with pharmacy software systems, EMR/EHR platforms, and inventory management tools
- Strong understanding of immunizations administration and patient assessment skills
- Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary healthcare team while maintaining HIPAA compliance
- Excellent communication skills focused on patient service and education

Pay: $61.54 - $72.00 per hour
