Our partnership with the Macomb Intermediate School District (MISD), Michigan Department of Education (MDE), and University of Virginia’s Partners for Leaders in Education (UVA-PLE) has created a unique opportunity for rapid district turnaround. Eastpointe Secondary Campus is a unique venue, supporting approximately 800 students in grades 8-12. Our campus consists of four schools on one campus ( 8th Grade Academy, a traditional high school setting for grades 9-12, and a Virtual Academy/Alternative Center). We prepare our students for college and career. Our secondary campus is a great fit for you with a stellar and supportive staff including two counselors, one assistant principal, one DEAN, instructional coaches, and mentors. Our Middle School welcomes students in grades 6 and 7, with a Principal, Assistant Principal, Counselor and Social Worker. Look to our Secondary schools for Positive Behavior Intervention and Supports (PBIS), Academic and Athletic Coaching opportunities, and Curriculum Department Teams.

Minimum Job Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Education with Integrated Science Major, or beyond
State of Michigan Teaching Certification, (DI or DX) Grades 6-12 or in process
Organizational Skills: Materials and Equipment, Inventory, Lab
Knowledgeable in student management techniques; community-oriented
Experience working with a diverse population
Successful Classroom teaching experience
Salary Data: EFE contract is a 15 step schedule. Bachelor’s lane: $50,831 - $82,897. Master’s lane: $55,105 - $87,756, plus $3,000 additional on each step for MA 30 or beyond.
