Job Summary
We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Technician to join our on-site team. You must be motivated to perform general maintenance work, including cleaning, lawn care, snow removal, painting, and repairs at 50-unit apartment complex in Kingston, and 45-unit complex in Newton, New Hampshire. Travel between the two properties is required. Your expertise will help create a comfortable living environment for our residents while supporting the overall upkeep of our facilities.
Duties
- Perform general maintenance and repairs of buildings and equipment.
- Inspect and general understanding of mechanical systems, such as heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
- General understanding of plumbing systems.
- Perform general carpentry work.
- Maintain grounds, including lawn care, snow removal, and landscaping.
- Perform routine preventive maintenance on equipment.
- Log work hours and submit POs through online portal.
- Tenant relations experience.
- Ensure all safety protocols are followed during maintenance activities to protect residents and staff.
- Assist with notifications and recertification distribution to tenants.
- Time will be split between Kingston and Newton, NH
Preferred Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED Required
- 2 years of maintenance, facilities, or related experience preferred
- Strong mechanical and troubleshooting skills
- Basic electrical knowledge
- Strong problem-solving, de-escalating, and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize mulitple maintenance requests
- Ability to safely lift, carry, climb, bend, kneel, and work in various facility enviornments
- Must be willing to work onsite and (work assigned shifts/weekends/on-call
