What are the responsibilities and job description for the Experienced Host-Weekends position at Easton Wine Project?
Our Hosts play an extremely important role in delivering the EWP experience to our guests. They are responsible for making sure guests feel welcomed, cared for, and valued from the moment they walk in to the moment they leave.
Host/Seater Responsibilities:
- Smile and provide a warm welcome to our guests
- Providing great guest service and positive vibes
- Answer the phone and take reservations
- Manage reservations, walk-in guests and wait-lists utilizing our Reservation System, HostMe
- Understand a seating chart, memorize table numbers
- Ability to multi-task and problem solve
- Seat guests and provide them with menus
- Thank guests as they leave and invite them back
- Performing cleaning duties such as clearing glasses and plates and resetting tables
- Perform restroom checks and stock supplies
- Completing the Closing Side Work checklist daily
Requirements:
Must be at least 16 years of age.
Available Summer and Fall/Winter-non seasonal role
At least 1 year experience in a host role is preferred.
Must be comfortable working in a fast pace environment and able to make quick independent decisions.
Availability: Friday evening, Saturday daytime and evening with additional hours available on Sunday daytime and occasional week night evenings.
Pay: $15.00 - $25.00 per hour
