Easton Utilities is seeking an Easton Velocity Technical Support Trainee to provide dependable, customer-focused technical support for our internet, cable TV, and voice services. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting and communication skills, with knowledge of internet connectivity, VoIP, cable equipment, Windows and Mac operating systems, and mobile devices. This position assists customers with resolving technical issues, configuring equipment, documenting service interactions, and delivering friendly, effective support in a fast-paced environment.

HIRING RANGE: Easton Velocity Tech Support Trainee - $20.29/hr - $23.83/hr - depending upon experience

JOB OBJECTIVE: Provide Easton Utilities Internet and cable customers with consistent and dependable technical support. This is a full-time, non-exempt position with a rotating schedule.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Must have well developed analytical, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work under continual deadlines with exceptional attention to details.
• Must successfully complete Jones/NCTI Customer Service course within 6 months of start date.
• Must successfully demonstrate the ability to verbally support cable TV, internet, and voice customers to resolve issues.
• Familiarity with Windows, Mac, Android, iOS operating systems, associated email clients and working knowledge of VoIP, is a plus.
• Must be able to communicate effectively with the public and possess friendly, courteous, and helpful attitude.
• Must have a valid driver’s license.

EDUCATION REQUIREMENTS: Must have high school diploma or equivalent

JOB FAMILY AND HIRING RANGES:

Tech Support I - $24.31/hr - $28.60/hr; depending upon experience

Tech Support II - $26.63/hr - $31.33/hr; depending upon experience

Tech Support III – $29.17/hr - $34.32/hr; depending upon experience

Tech Support Team Lead – $35.01/hr - $41.18/hr; depending upon experience
