Position: Recess Supervisor
Hours: 15 hours per week. Schedule is 11:15am-2pm, Monday through Friday when school
is in session for students. It is a 180-day work schedule each school year.
Start Date: 8/26/2026
Salary and Benefits: In accordance with the paraprofessional bargaining unit contract. Starting pay
rate is $17.43/hr

Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
- High School diploma
- Experience working with young children
- Sensitivity to the needs of young children
Responsibilities:
- Supervising students (Grade 1 – Grade 5) for safety and appropriate behavior on the
playground and/or in a classroom setting for indoor recess
- Helping students resolve minor conflicts with their peers
- Observing student behavior
- Consistently circulating the playground area (or classroom) to observe student interaction
