TREE OPERATIONS MANAGER / ARBORIST FOREMAN (PART-TIME)
Easton General Contractors LLC is seeking an experienced Tree Operations Manager, Arborist Foreman, or Tree Crew Supervisor to assist with municipal, commercial, and storm-response tree projects throughout Eastern Pennsylvania and New Jersey.
This position is ideal for a former tree company owner, operations manager, ISA Certified Arborist, utility vegetation supervisor, or experienced tree crew foreman seeking flexible part-time consulting work.
Responsibilities:
- Review tree pruning and removal contracts
- Estimate labor, equipment, and production requirements
- Assist with bidding and project planning
- Develop work schedules and crew assignments
- Supervise tree crews and subcontractors
- Coordinate bucket trucks, chippers, stump grinders, and hauling operations
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, safety, and traffic control requirements
- Monitor quality, productivity, and job-site safety
- Assist with customer and municipal communications
- Provide guidance on proper pruning, removals, and vegetation management practices
Preferred Qualifications:
- 5 years of tree service, arborist, forestry, or vegetation management experience
- Experience managing tree crews and equipment
- Knowledge of municipal tree contracts and public works projects
- Experience with bucket truck and climbing operations
- Ability to estimate production and labor requirements
- ISA Arborist Certification preferred
- CDL preferred but not required
- Experience with storm damage response is a plus
Compensation:
- $40–$75 per hour based on experience
- Flexible schedule
- Independent Contractor (1099)
