What are the responsibilities and job description for the Programs Assistant position at Easton Foundations?
The Easton Salt Lake Archery Center is a state-of-the-art archery center, featuring indoor and outdoor ranges, and world-class training facilities. The center provides leadership, facilities, programs, training, and education that allows archers to pursue their competitive dreams.
Hours: Full-time including weekdays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
Compensation: $19.50 - 20.50 Hourly DOE

Key Responsibilities:
Archery Program Duties:
- Effectively run entry level programs

- Lead entry level programs, including but not limited to try archery classes and open shooting orientations
- Embody the Easton Foundation program’s principles of fun, community, and balance
- Assist with the facilitation and lead (when needed) ancillary program activities, including but not limited to archery tag, team builders, archery skeet and try archery
- Coach entry and basic level programs
Assist with upkeep, maintenance, and organization of archery program equipment
Aid in program engagement tracking
Assist with all other archery programs and activities as needed
Event Duties:
- Assist with the development, logistics and execution of center events
- Willingness to train under Easton Foundation’s event best practices
- Assist in the setup and breakdown of center events and activities
- Act as tournament judge when needed
- Assist with event scoring
- Event registration
- Process payments
- Assist in event outreach efforts
- Assist with event marketing
- Timely execution of tasks assigned
Key Qualifications:
- Strong customer service skills.
- Willingness to obtain level 2 USA Archery instructor certification (training provided)
- Willingness to obtain USA Archery judging certification (training provided)
- Willingness to obtain CPR, First-Aid, etc., (training provided).
- Be able to safely operate common power and hand tools.
- Must be able to work well with children, adults, and special needs persons.
- Must be able to work all scheduled hours including evenings, weekends, holidays and
- Work non-standard hours as needed.
- Ability to lift targets and other items of a heavy nature averaging 50 pounds in weight and other physical functions as needed.
- Maintain good attendance on the job.
- Possess a valid driver’s license.
