Responsibilities
- Manage and schedule shipments
- Process all shipments in SAP for the Warehouse which may also include hazardous materials
- Print and attach all necessary paperwork to the shipments
- Schedule carriers
- Correspond with Customer Service and Logistics Support
- Assist floor operators with material movements and loading and unloading of carriers
- Receive in material in SAP and apply proper labels to material (both direct and indirect)
- Perform inventory count of supplies needed at various plants
- Support new plant start ups globally
- Enter Purchase Requisitions in SAP
- Operate PIT equipment
Qualifications
- Minimum Education: Must be High School Graduate or equivalent.
- The individual applying for this position should:
- Demonstrate effective communication and organizational skills
- Demonstrate attention to detail, with the ability to produce accurate, error-free work
- Have the ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously and be adaptive in a deadline-driven, fast-paced environment
- Possess knowledge of the Microsoft suite of products including Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience with SharePoint preferred
- Experience with SAP required
- Have demonstrated the ability to take initiative and assume responsibility for projects and results
- Willing to work overtime as needed based on production and project schedules
- Works well both independently and in a team setting
- Dedicated and motivated to continuously improve in all areas of responsibility
- Possess knowledge of basic logistics including import and export moves involving carriers, containers, and steamship lines
- Demonstrate basic math skills by calculating square feet and area
The starting rate for this position is $21.98 per hour.
Compensation is determined according to a structured rate schedule and may be adjusted based on the candidate's qualifications, experience, and relevant skills.
