POSITION: ServSafe Manager Instructor
REPORTS TO: Aspire Program Manager, Adult Workforce Development

STARTING DATE: ASAP
QUALIFICATIONS: Seeking an experienced and engaging ServSafe Instructor to deliver high quality food safety training to food service professionals; Successful candidates must be passionate about public health, knowledgeable about food safety regulations, and skilled at creating a positive learning environment; Must be ServSafe Instructor certified; Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Successfully pass a BCI/FBI background check.
RESPONSIBILITIES: Deliver ServSafe Manager and/or Food Handler training according to National Restaurant Association standards; Facilitate in-person training sessions for diverse groups of learners; Administer ServSafe exam and ensure all testing procedures are followed correctly; Maintain up-to-date knowledge of food safety practices, state regulations, and ServSafe program changes; Provide coaching, feedback, and support to students.
SALARY: Placement on the Part-Time as needed salary schedule
TYPE OF EMPLOYMENT: Part-time, as needed; Hourly; Currently for Wednesday Evenings; Days and times will vary; Evening hours may be required; No benefits with this position
