Eastham Elementary School

DESCRIPTIVE STATEMENT

        OF POSITION:

Position requires the following:

• Ability to work under the direction of special education and general education teachers;
• Provide support and services to students to meet educational goals and objectives;
• Ability to collaborate with staff in and out of the classroom;
• Work effectively with students to monitor behavior at lunch and recess times;
• Understanding of principles of ABA (applied behavioral analysis) helpful but not required;
• Flexibility and a positive attitude required.

QUALIFICATIONS:

High School diploma and college coursework preferred. Ability to perform necessary physical activities to fulfill job responsibilities.

SALARY:

Per Paraeducator substitute daily rate
