Responsibilities
- Carefully press and finish a variety of garments, including suits, dresses, shirts, and uniforms, ensuring they are wrinkle-free and perfectly shaped.
- Operate professional pressing equipment safely and efficiently, adhering to all safety protocols.
- Inspect garments for stains, damages, or irregularities before pressing; notify supervisors of any issues requiring special attention.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the pressing area to promote a safe and productive workspace.
- Assist with laundry and dry cleaning processes as needed, ensuring proper handling of delicate fabrics.
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing client inquiries about garment care or turnaround times with professionalism.
- Keep accurate records of garments processed, including special instructions or requests from customers.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a garment presser or in a similar role within laundry or dry cleaning services.
