- Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with check-in procedures to ensure a seamless intake process
- Manage appointment scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations efficiently using clinic management systems
- Collect and update patient information accurately, including insurance details and medical history
- Support providers by preparing treatment rooms and necessary supplies for therapy sessions
- Perform passive therapy as directed by the providers
- Ensure compliance with healthcare privacy regulations by safeguarding patient information at all times
Skills
- Strong patient service skills with a friendly, empathetic demeanor that puts patients at ease
- Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, and anatomy to effectively support patient care plans
- Familiarity with intake procedures and managing patient flow within outpatient clinics
- Ability to multitask efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in fast-paced settings
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with diverse patient populations and healthcare professionals
