Special Education Teacher - ESY
Easterseals Western and Central Pennsylvania is a non-profit organization looking to hire a dynamic Special Education Teacher to work with children 3 - 8 years old at the West Mifflin location during our six-week summer program. June 23th - August 1, 2025.
QUALIFICATIONS-Special Education Teacher
- Bachelor's Degree (Required)
- PA Special Education Certification (Required)
- Special Education Experience: 1 Year (Preferred)
- Acceptable PA Criminal Record Check, Child Abuse and Department of Education FBI clearances required
- Passing of physical examination and TB required.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES- Special Education Teacher
- Provide a safe, accepting classroom atmosphere and use teaching techniques that promote developmentally appropriate practices and physical, social, emotional, and psychological growth for each student
- Collect, interpret, and report progress of data collected on student IEP goals.
Work hours are Part-time Monday- Friday, 8:15 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., 4-hour days. No School on July 3rd or 4th. The hourly rate of pay is $38.
