Easterseals of Southeastern Pennsylvania seeks energetic School Bus and School Van Attendants for our Transportation department. Full-time and part-time positions are available.
Essential Functions/Duties:
- Assist with the transport of preschool children with special needs to and from our school locations.
- Available to work Monday through Friday for scheduled days of programs during the school year plus a 6-week summer program.
- Supporting pre-school aged students with disabilities entering and exiting the school bus,
- Ensuring their safety before and during transportation,
- Adhering to all required guidelines.
- Ability to build rapport and trust with the students is very important.
- High School diploma/GED required.
- Prior School Bus Attendant, Childcare Aide, or experience with the special need’s population a plus.
- Applicants are required to pass Easterseals and Philadelphia School District required clearances, pre-employment drug testing and alcohol screening.
