We’re looking for a dedicated part-time or PRN Behavior Technician to provide compassionate care and support to adults with intellectual/developmental disabilities and mental health needs in our short-term Adult Transitional Home in Culpeper, VA.
We are hiring for:
Part-Time Saturday & Sunday, 7p-7a
PRN / as needed
Your Role in Our Mission
The Behavior Technician (I OR II) will help lead daily programs and group activities designed to promote growth, engagement, and skill development. You will provide rehabilitative interventions and implement therapeutic strategies to help the guests achieve their goals, while also assisting with personal care to ensure safety and dignity. Collaboration is key! You will work closely with primary care providers, referral sources, and families to deliver consistent, compassionate, and coordinated care. You will also provide education, guidance, and a judgment-free, supportive environment where every voice is heard. As needed, you may support our Youth Crisis Therapeutic Home located nearby. Additionally, you will maintain daily documentation and reporting in our electronic health system of record.

What We’re Looking For
- Experience working with IDD/Behavioral Health (BH) disorders required
- Education:
- BT I: High School diploma and behavior health experience
- BT II: QMHP (trainee), or
- The ability to register as a Qualified Mental Health Professional Trainee and be approved within 30 days of hire
- Maintain valid state appropriate driver’s license and auto insurance for personal and agency vehicles utilized for work
