What You’ll Do:
The Direct Support Professional provides high-quality support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities by fostering strong relationships in community settings.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide services to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) including but not limited to, feeding, toileting, assistance with hygiene, monitoring and/or administering medications and all areas of adult daily living skills.
- Implement Individual Service Plans (ISPs) for daily living, transportation, medication and more.
- Transports consumers within the community using the company van.
- Deliver high-quality services in community, residential, and facility settings.
- Build strong relationships with consumers and external stakeholders.
- Must be at least 18 years old.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Experience: At least 6 months of previous experience in direct care or related field preferred.
- Requirements: Possess a valid driver’s license & clean driving record.
- Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
- Use of Company Van to transport residents as needed
