We are searching for a Dispatcher in our Special Transit Services office to provide excellent service to our drivers and customers while answering multiple telephone lines. The individual in this key position will:
- Communicate by using phones and tablets with drivers and customers regarding trip schedules and clients. Refer messages and calls in a timely manner to the proper personnel.
- Collaborate with other dispatchers regarding fleet operation.
- Maintain accurate dispatch reports as directed by STS management.
- Operate dispatch software to communicate with the garage, management staff, local community and schools.
- Oversee driver production records, schedules and logs, assuring that all fleet records are turned in. Summarize and report information as required by STS management.
- Assist in the coordination of routine vehicle maintenance.
- Ability to assist in the operation of a special needs transportation system
- Well organized with good telephone communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Administrative and computer operation skills, including the ability to multi-task
- Bilingual skills a plus
Compensation: $18.50 hourly
