Minimum Qualifications: Master's degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling required. Must possess current Michigan licensure or limited licensure (LLPC/LPC, LLMSW/LMSW, or TLLP/LLP/LP), a valid driver's license, current auto insurance, and at least one year of experience working with children and families in a behavioral health or human services setting.

What You'll Do

As a Behavioral Health Clinician, you will:

  • Provide individual, family, and group therapy to children and families.
  • Complete comprehensive behavioral health and clinical assessments.
  • Assess for mental health, substance use, psychiatric symptoms, and acute safety needs.
  • Provide intensive stabilization and crisis intervention services.
  • Develop individualized treatment plans and monitor client progress.
  • Help individuals identify behavioral and emotional triggers and develop crisis and relapse prevention plans.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, schools, community providers, and other professionals to coordinate care.
  • Support individuals with medication-related needs and provide education as appropriate.
  • Participate in team huddles and multidisciplinary consultation.
  • Provide trauma-informed care to children and families impacted by trauma.
  • Maintain timely and accurate clinical documentation in accordance with funding and organizational requirements.
  • Travel throughout Oakland County and surrounding areas to provide services.
