Qualifications:
-
Must possess Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredit law school.
-
Must be licensed to practice law in the United States and be in good standing. Licensing in the State of Michigan is preferred.

Have at least one (1) year of legal experience.
-
Must possess a valid driver’s license in the State of Michigan.

Must possess strong contract drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills.
-
Must be able to demonstrate the ability to manage multiple projects effectively and simultaneously.

Must possess strong written communication and organizational skills.

Must possess the ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with operational stakeholders.
Duties and Responsibilities:
-
Coordinate and manage commercial construction and renovation projects from planning through completion.

Serve as legal and operational liaison between internal stakeholders, contractors, architects, engineers, consultants, and vendors.

Collaborate with internal senior leadership for identifying key design concept elements for projects and able to articulate to architect vendors for design documents and eventual permitting documents.

Support lease administration, property acquisitions, dispositions, and related transactions.

Coordinate contract execution, tracking, renewals, and compliance monitoring.

Coordinate permitting processes for construction, renovation, occupancy, and related activities.
-
Monitor and support compliance with applicable federal, state, and local requirements.

Provide legal research and analysis on operational, regulatory, employment, healthcare, and corporate matters.
