- Open or close the barn with confidence — you’re the first in and the last out!
- Lead fun, hands-on animal care activities with our program participants.
- Feed and care for horses and small animals with love and precision.
- Clean stalls, scrub water buckets, muck and rake like a pro, and maintain safe, happy habitats for all.
- Prep horses for programs: tacking, untacking, brushing, and hoof-picking included!
- Administer routine medications (we’ll train you) under the guidance of our Equestrian Center Director or Vet.
- Be ready to jump in for backup coverage when needed — team spirit required!
- Solid horse sense — equine experience is a must! You’re confident leading, tacking, and working around horses.
- 2 years of hands-on barn experience in a professional or structured setting.
- Comfortable flying solo in a barn environment — you’re independent and reliable.
- Know-how in animal care, feeding, safety, blanketing, first aid and stable maintenance.
