Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Assist licensed therapists during therapy sessions by preparing materials and supporting therapeutic activities under supervision
- Set up, clean, and maintain therapy spaces, equipment, and materials
- Support child safety and supervision during therapy sessions and transitions
- Maintain a clean, organized, and child-friendly therapy environment
- Adhere to all health, safety, confidentiality, and organizational policies
- Provide positive, professional interactions with children, families, and staff
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience working with children in a childcare, educational, or healthcare setting (preferred but not required)
- Ability to follow instructions and work under the supervision of licensed therapists
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Basic organizational skills and attention to detail
- Coursework or interest in healthcare, child development, psychology, or related fields
- Experience in a pediatric therapy or clinical environment
- CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
