Description:Summary: Performs assorted janitorial duties to support the Academy including cleaning the glass windows/doors; wiping down tables and chairs; taking out the trash.; sanitizing the restrooms; and dusting.Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Cleaning glass windows and doorsWhile working in the lobby and cafeteria, this position may be responsible for the following tasks:Use glass cleaner and paper towels to clean glass entry doors in the lobby and cafeteriaUse glass cleaner to clean the windows in the lobby and offices.Use glass cleaner to clean the doors and windows in the cafeteria.Clean the doors and windows in the Wellness area.Wipe down tables and chairsIn the lobby, use the cleaner to wipe down the chairs, table and ledge of the reception area.Use the cleaner to wipe down the tables in the conference room and break room.Use cleaner to clean tables in the cafeteria in the morning and afternoon.Take out TrashAfter lunch, empty the trash in each area.Empty the trash in office areas and lobbyPlace the trash bags in the dumpster outside Sanitize the RestroomsUsing the cleaner, wipe down the sinks/cabinet.Using the glass cleaner, clean the mirrors in the bathrooms.Spray sanitizing spray in the toilet area.Alert supervisor if there is a big mess in the restroom that you might need assistance with.DustingUsing the duster, dust the window sills in the lobby and office.Using the duster, dust the tops of the lockersCompliance/HIPAA:While performing the duties of this job, employee will comply with all federal, state, and local laws and regulations pertaining to Easterseals Arkansas.This employee has no access to client files.
