Duties

- Utilize automotive diagnostics tools and mechanical troubleshooting techniques to assist customers effectively
- Build strong customer relationships through clear communication, personalized service, and follow-up
- Manage inventory control and automotive parts management to ensure product availability and accurate stock levels
- Process sales transactions efficiently using POS systems while handling cash and credit payments with accuracy
- Collaborate with the service team to coordinate vehicle maintenance and repair recommendations
- Maintain organized records of sales, customer interactions, and inventory using CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) software
- Develop expertise in automotive repair procedures, vehicle systems, and parts specifications to better serve clients
- Apply negotiation skills to close sales confidently while ensuring customer satisfaction
- Keep up-to-date with industry trends, new products, and dealership promotions to maximize sales opportunities
Experience
- Proven experience in retail sales within the automotive industry or dealership environment preferred
- Strong knowledge of automotive parts, accessories, vehicle systems, and automotive repair processes
- Demonstrated ability in automotive diagnostics and mechanical troubleshooting techniques
- Familiarity with inventory management systems, POS software, CMMS platforms, and Microsoft Office applications
- Excellent communication skills in multiple languages or bilingual proficiency highly desirable
- Experience in customer relationship building and client communication strategies
- Previous exposure to dealership sales management or retail math calculations beneficial
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately while maintaining professional phone etiquette and customer service standards
- Organizational skills necessary for stocking, order fulfillment, maintenance tasks, and inventory control
