Experienced Cabinet Installer

Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Cabinet Installer In this role, you will be responsible for expertly installing custom cabinets,and related woodwork in residential settings. Your expertise in carpentry, woodworking, and construction will ensure precise, efficient, and high-quality installations that meet client specifications and industry standards. Duties

• Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute cabinet installations.
• Measure, cut, assemble, and install cabinets, countertops, trim, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools for woodworking.
• Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and secure fastening of cabinetry according to safety standards and project specifications.
• Perform heavy lifting of cabinetry components and materials safely while adhering to power tool safety protocols.
• Collaborate with project managers, designers, and other trades to coordinate installation schedules and resolve on-site challenges promptly.
• Conduct quality inspections throughout the installation process to maintain high standards of craftsmanship.
• Assist with restoration projects involving water damage remediation, mold remediation, siding repairs, or other renovation tasks as needed.

Skills

• Extensive experience in cabinet installation within the residential construction or remodeling industry.
• Proficiency in reading construction plans, blueprints, technical drawings, and interpreting construction plans accurately.
• Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, drills, chisels, levels; power tools for woodworking including sanders and routers; woodworking machines; metal stud framing tools; rebar installation equipment; concrete forming tools; plastering supplies; caulking guns; flooring installation tools; fixture installation hardware; siding tools; door hanging equipment; framing hammers; mold remediation supplies; heavy lifting techniques.
• Strong knowledge of wood construction materials including plywood, MDF, solid wood panels, trim components, siding materials.
• Ability to perform precise measurements and cuts for custom cabinetry fitting.
• Knowledge of power tool safety procedures to ensure a safe working environment at all times.
• Experience with various aspects of construction site work such as framing (including metal studs), drywall installation (plastering), rebar setup for concrete forms, water damage restoration techniques, stucco application, and reinstallation of fixtures.
• Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on detail-oriented craftsmanship during remodeling or restoration projects.
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting and prolonged periods of standing or working at heights on ladders or scaffolding.
• Handyman experience is a plus—capable of handling miscellaneous repair tasks efficiently within the scope of cabinet installation projects.

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
