Auto Repair Technician — Employee-Owned Shop
Eastern Tire & Auto Service | Rockland & Rockport, ME
Pay: $25-35/hr, based on experience
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM — no nights, no weekends

What you'll do:
- Diagnose and repair brakes, suspension, engine performance, electrical, HVAC, basic transmission/drivetrain, and exhaust systems
- Perform routine maintenance: oil changes, tire rotations, fluid flushes, filter replacements
- Use scan tools, oscilloscopes, and other diagnostic equipment to find root causes
- Document repairs and communicate with service advisors on recommendations and timelines
- Complete State Inspections
What you need:
- 3–5 years of experience as an auto technician in a professional shop
- State of Maine Inspection License or ability to obtain within three months of being hired
- Strong diagnostic skills and ability to read wiring diagrams
- Own a basic tool set
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record
