We are seeking a Medical Assistant preferably with medical aesthetics experience to support our clinical team and deliver an exceptional patient experience. The ideal candidate is compassionate, detail-oriented, comfortable discussing wellness and aesthetic treatments, and able to balance clinical responsibilities with excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients, obtain medical histories, record vital signs, and prepare them for consultations and treatments.
- Assist licensed medical providers with patient evaluations, procedures, and follow-up visits.
- Support medically supervised weight-loss programs, including GLP-1 therapies, in accordance with provider orders, clinic protocols, and applicable regulations.
- Educate patients on treatment preparation, aftercare, medication instructions, and follow-up schedules within the scope of the role.
- Administer injections or perform other clinical duties when appropriately trained, authorized, and supervised.
- Perform or assist with laser hair removal, body-contouring treatments, and other aesthetic services when permitted by state law, licensure, certification, and clinic policy.
- Take standardized before-and-after photographs and accurately document treatments and patient progress.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sanitize equipment, maintain inventory, and follow infection-control and safety procedures.
- Maintain complete and confidential electronic medical records.
- Coordinate appointments, respond to patient questions, and help maintain an efficient daily schedule.
- Explain clinic services and treatment plans clearly without making guarantees or using high-pressure sales tactics.
- Recognize and promptly report adverse reactions, contraindications, or patient concerns to the supervising provider.
- Participate in ongoing training related to medical weight management, aesthetics, equipment safety, and patient care.
Qualifications
- Minimum of a Current Medical Assistant certification
- Medical assistant training and at least [1-2] years of clinical experience.
- At least [1] year of experience in medical aesthetics, dermatology, med spa, or wellness medicine.
- Active aesthetician or master aesthetician license, if required for assigned duties in New Hampshire.
- Experience with laser hair removal, body-contouring devices, or aesthetic treatments strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with medically supervised weight-loss programs, GLP-1 medications, or peptide therapies is preferred.
- Strong understanding of patient privacy, infection control, informed consent, and accurate documentation.
- Excellent communication, organization, and customer-service skills.
- Comfortable discussing sensitive topics such as weight, body image, and aesthetic goals with professionalism and empathy.
- Ability to work independently while following provider direction and established protocols.
- Comfortable learning electronic health record, scheduling, photography, and patient communication systems.
- Bilingual abilities are a plus.

Physical Requirements
This position may require prolonged standing, assisting patients on and off treatment tables, operating clinical or aesthetic equipment.
Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour
