Job Summary
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to support the development and well-being of children in our care. This role involves creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children of various ages, including infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. Duties
- Supervise and ensure the safety of children during daily activities, playtime, and rest periods
- Plan and implement age-appropriate educational activities that promote learning and development
- Provide basic caregiving needs such as feeding, diapering, and hygiene assistance for infants and toddlers
- Engage children in creative play, storytelling, and social interactions to support emotional and social growth
- Maintain a clean and organized environment conducive to learning and play
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, behavior, and needs
- Assist with behavior management strategies to promote positive conduct
- Administer first aid when necessary and respond promptly to any emergencies or health concerns
- Support children with disabilities or special needs by adapting activities and providing inclusive care
Qualifications
- Prior experience in childcare settings such as daycare, preschool, babysitting, or nannying is preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development stages, early childhood education, and behavior management techniques
- Certification in first aid is highly desirable
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and team members
- Demonstrated patience, compassion, and a nurturing attitude toward children of all ages
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities in a fast-paced environment
- Relevant qualifications in early childhood education or classroom experience are advantageous
