Duties
- Provide attentive supervision and personalized care to infants and toddlers, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times
- Implement age-appropriate activities that promote early childhood development, including play-based learning and sensory experiences
- Follow established routines for feeding, diapering, nap times, and hygiene to create a consistent daily structure
- Communicate effectively with parents regarding their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns or updates
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe environment in compliance with health regulations and safety standards
- Apply child development instruction techniques to support emotional regulation, social skills, and cognitive growth
- Adhere to mandated reporting laws by promptly reporting any signs of neglect or abuse according to legal requirements
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in daycare centers, preschools, babysitting, nannying or similar settings is highly preferred
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices
- Experience with infant care routines including feeding, diapering, soothing techniques, and developmental milestones
- Classroom management skills to create a positive learning environment that encourages curiosity and independence
- Familiarity with child supervision best practices and behavior management strategies
- Certification in first aid and CPR (Pediatric First Aid preferred) to ensure readiness for emergency situations
- Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus but not required; training will be provided if necessary
