As a Retail Yard Loader Operator / Customer Service Representative, you will be at the heart of our operation — loading materials, organizing the yard, and delivering an exceptional experience for every customer who stops by.
What You Will Do
- Deliver Exceptional Service — Greet customers with a smile, assist them quickly and efficiently, and make every interaction a positive one.
- Operate Heavy Equipment — Safely load and unload materials using forklifts, skid steers, and Manitou loaders (training available).
- Keep It Organized — Maintain a clean, well-stocked yard and ensure materials are stored safely and neatly.
- Assist with Deliveries — Load company trucks and common carriers with precision and care.
- Stay Versatile — Jump in wherever needed — helping coworkers, helping in scale house, restocking, or handling special projects.
- Work Safely — Follow all safety protocols and company policies to keep yourself and your teammates safe.
What You Bring
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) not required but certainly a bonus! Communication is a big part of the position as you are always connecting with customers and teammates.
- Experience or Willingness to Learn — prior experience operating loaders or forklifts is great, but we will train the right person.
- Basic Math Skills — add, subtract, multiply, and divide measurements accurately.
- People Skills — friendly, dependable, and courteous with a “can-do” attitude.
- Reliability — show up ready to work, take pride in your work, and keep things running smoothly.
- Flexibility — able to work a schedule that includes Saturdays and adjusts with business needs.
