Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education and a commitment to fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for young learners. This role involves developing and implementing engaging curricula, promoting literacy and math skills, and supporting the overall development of children in our care.
After one year, you will receive a PAID 5 day vacation. Wages are based on experience, but we offer raises based on quarterly performance. We also offer discounted childcare.
Duties
- Develop and implement age-appropriate curricula that promote early childhood development.
- Create lesson plans that cater to the diverse needs of students, ensuring all learning styles are accommodated.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively, fostering a positive learning environment that encourages participation and growth.
- Provide individualized support to children with special needs or those requiring early intervention.
- Maintain open communication with parents regarding their child's progress and any concerns related to child welfare.
- Collaborate with colleagues to enhance classroom experiences and share best practices in teaching methodologies.
- Conduct assessments and standardized testing as required to monitor student progress.
- Engage in continuous professional development to stay current with educational trends and practices.
Qualifications
- Both parts of the early childhood education course with one year of experience, or college credits that take place of the one year experience.
- Experience working with children in various settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools.
- Strong understanding of childhood development principles and behavior management techniques.
- Familiarity with curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management strategies.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with students, parents, and colleagues.
