We are seeking a reliable and motivated Assistant Property Manager to support the turnaround and daily operations of an affordable, multi-family housing community. This role works closely with the Property Manager and ownership team to ensure smooth operations, excellent resident relations, and strong financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support daily property operations and ensure a well-maintained community.
- Coordinate with maintenance staff to complete work orders promptly.
- Assist with leasing activities: show units, process applications, and help maintain high occupancy.
- Support rent collection efforts and track delinquencies.
- Prepare and maintain accurate reports and records.
- Communicate regularly with the Property Manager and ownership regarding leasing, collections, maintenance, and resident concerns.
- Collaborate with on-site staff to support smooth operations and excellent customer service.
Qualifications
- 2–5 years of experience in property management, preferably in Class C multi-family or affordable housing communities.
- Proficiency with property management software and basic financial reporting.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills.
- Comfortable with numbers, data tracking, and administrative tasks.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and proactive in solving problems.
