Overview
We are seeking a motivated, highly organized professional to join our team as a project manager and purchaser role on our commercial plumbing construction team. This is in person role that requires a construction minded professional who understands plumbing systems, site logistics, and the importance of timely material procurement to keep projects moving.
The ideal person will combine strong administrative discipline with field awareness. You will plan and coordinate project tasks, maintain construction schedules, and manage procurement activities including issuing purchase orders, daily material orders, and coordinating final buy outs. Routine contact with manufacturer and distributor representatives will be required to obtain quotes, confirm lead times, and negotiate cost effective solutions.
- Provide day to day project coordination and scheduling support for multiple active plumbing projects
- Manage purchasing workflow including POs, order confirmations, back order tracking, and delivery coordination
- Perform frequent site field visits to verify installations, confirm material usage, and support safety and quality objectives
- Act as a liaison to subcontractors and trade partners, addressing material questions and coordinating inspections
- Assist the Chief Estimator with scope clarifications, buy out lists, and closing out procurement items
- Complete administrative duties such as document control, RFI and submittal tracking, invoice review, and schedule updates
Required skills include practical plumbing construction experience and strong computer skills in Microsoft Office with particular emphasis on Excel for cost tracking and reporting. We offer a salary that is negotiable based on experience, health insurance, and a culture that values clear communication and practical problem solving. This is an IN PERSON POSITION that will require consistent presence in the office and travel to local job sites to support operational needs.
Pay: $56,000.00 - $63,000.00 per year
