This is a part time position, for one day per week on Tuesdays
Must have previous experience in dental or medical to be considered for this position
Responsibilities:
- Acknowledge and greet patients upon arriving and leaving
- Respond to patient questions and/or concerns and escalate if needed
- Answering telephones, schedule and confirm appointments and manage front desk voicemail
- Follow up on no shows and cancellation of appointments
- Register patients from sign in sheet
- Post charges and payments to patient accounts
- Maintain the waiting area for patients
- Perform other tasks as necessary
Qualifications:
- Experience answering the telephone in a professional environment
- Proven customer service skills
- Strong communication and multi-tasking skills
- Knowledge of insurance plans preferred
- Experience with Denticon is preferred
