Requirements:
Complete and perform pre trip inspections and report necessary repairs.- Complete daily truck driver logs and make sure delivery sheet as signed.
- Map delivery routes to ensure timely deliveries.
- Pick-up loads organize goods on the truck and secure the load while using straps and/or tarping system.
- Transport delivery load to assigned destination.
- Obtain signatures or warehouse scans to confirm and complete deliveries with clients.
- Communicate with dispatch as needed.
- Maintain and service vehicle as needed (refuel, tire pressure, fluid checks, etc.).
- Maintain detailed driving and delivery logs.
- Track and report working hours.
- Adhere to company rules and regulations.
- Obey all applicable traffic laws and drive according to the weather/road conditions.
- Current Department of Transportation Medical Card
- Follow all safety policies and procedures.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations.
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred but not required.- Valid Class A or B commercial driver’s license required.
- 6 months of driving a tractor-trailer or large truck a plus.
- Clean driving record with no moving violations.
- Experience operating warehouse equipment, such as forklifts, Moffets and pallet jacks a plus
- Able to lift to 50 pounds.
- Must pass a background check and drug test.
