Title of Position: EMS Clinical Coordinator – Part-time, 20 Hours per Week
Bargaining Unit/Anticipated Salary Range: MEA Administrator; Level III; Wage determined by individual’s credentials.
Responsibilities: EMCC is seeking an EMS Clinical Coordinator responsible for all aspects of the EMS student’s Clinical/Field Education Program. The employee would communicate with EMS agencies, hospitals, and other clinical sites to place students in clinical and field rotations. The Clinical Coordinator monitors compliance with the requirements of students and manages the clinical contract process. As available, the EMS Clinical Coordinator may be used in EMS training as a laboratory assistant.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or equivalent. Maine Class C driver’s license or equivalent. Experience with Platinum EMS testing, tracking, and reporting system. Maine EMS licensed EMT.
- EMR and EMT Program Leads may be licensed as an EMT.
- AEMT Program Leads may be licensed as an AEMT.
- Maine Class C driver’s license or equivalent
- At least one (1) year of active instructional experience as a college instructor or equivalent
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Associate’s Degree or higher related field.
- Maine EMS Instructor Coordinator
- National registry of EMT Paramedic Certification.
- Experience with CAAHEP / CoAEMSP accreditation.
- American Heart Association BLS, ACLS, and/or PALs instructor.
- College teaching experience.
